MANAGING DIRECTOR’S SPEECH
We all know that we are living in the age of globalization. To be more specific, we are the citizens of globalized village. Even few years before there was huge difference between the east and the west, between the north and the south. With the tremendous advancement of science and technology distance between the far off places and countries has been narrowed down. It is a matter of few hours when anyone can travel from one end to another end of the earth planet so cozily. Secondly, the internet and social media have transformed the diverse heterogeneity of race and culture into a single
homogeneity of ideas, feelings and expressions.
In the milieu of socio-economic changes, globally the nature of business, trade and commerce has also undergone unspeakable changes which were unthought-of in the recent past. Today each and every nation has developed more or less particularly in the
realm of business, may be it is simple trade or manufacturing. Bangladesh is no exception. Per annum GDP growth rate of Bangladesh is more
than 7%. Having been greatly inspired by the ongoing business development of Bangladesh and the neighboring southeast Asian countries I personally dreamt of growing tall in terms of flourishing business. Since my early life I have been harboring the nicest dreams of venturing upon entrepreneur ship to establish a series of manufacturing plants, mills and factories which will not only earn money for me but also which will provide employment to thousands of people and supporting their families. With this noble aim at the back of my mind I started initially twenty years before a small enterprise which is customs clearing and forwarding(C&F) in nature
under the name of RSF( Real & Safe for Future).
Today that small RSF has grown to become a continually ever flourishing agro and sweets based Commodity Company in Bangladesh. It is committed to be culminated into the largest agro, dairy, sweets based commodity industry within and outside the world. I must thank my staff, well wishers and patrons who gave their whole-hearted support and cooperation for the company’s achievement without which it was never possible to come at this stage of the company.
At this juncture it is my candid intention to share my thoughts and ideas with my staff and fellow
how I have been working overtime towards achieving ever increasing development of the company. To sum up, I credit our success to the following factors:
1. A successful company must have a good business plan and vision. You can make a good vision
but you need good people to understand and realize the vision and mission of the company. With
RSF group we have probably the best people for our business as found in most countries. Team
work, close monitoring among the branches, wings and departments within the company and
sharing experience with each other, quality production, organized market policy etc. are the
tools for our steady growth.
At this juncture it is my candid intention to share my thoughts and ideas with my staff and fellow

2. We strive to produce, market, distribute the best quality product at the lowest possible cost.
We are not complacent with the apparent achievement. we work hard, we keep on improving our
business mode and learn new skills to make ourselves more efficient, more dynamic. We do not
rest on our laurels, but move on to the next one. We have a spirit of adventurism and are willing
to venture into new and difficult market.
2. We strive to produce, market, distribute the best quality product at the lowest possible cost.

3. We take very hard stance towards corruption no matter how able a staff is. If someone is
found corrupt we will let him go down resulting in termination. We believe any corruption is like
cancer and death is a must if treated late. It will spread and any treatment of it becomes more
difficult. And ultimately there will be permanent damage to the body.
4. We appreciate the importance of our local talent. we try our best to use good local people in
our overseas operation instead of depending on expatriates. Even where expatriates are used it
is usually for the initial period when we set up the full software ABS. Local talent will be identified and trained to take on more senior roles.
Now what we are looking forward, how we ensure and how we will contribute to succeed to be
an even more success
I think we have to continue all the things mentioned above in addition to the following:
1.We must ensure uniform high standards throughout the RSF Group and major associates. Besides improving competitiveness, it is necessary because plant and food safety and environmental issues are very important these days especially for the RSF Group. A major mismanagement mishap in one operation can have a disastrous impact on the whole RSF Group. Besides
financial losses reputation which takes years to build-would suffer huge damage. it will not be
easy to win basic trust and credibility once reputation is damaged. If we do not adopt sustainable
practices in our ever growing endeavor our agro, dairy, sweets operations will be in big trouble.
2. To build a great company a company needs to have a great company corporate culture.
We must produce quality goods and sell team as fair prices. We must not do anything that is bad
for customer’s health and causes damage to the environment. We must be honorable and fair to
everyone we deal with and treat them with most respect with their position. We must have the
same commitment of our RSF group staff as what we expect from them. We should allow our staff
to develop their full potential and give them a chance to be rich honesty. Then our success must
have to be shared by all our partners, employees and the society.
